Re: Circular saw vs bandsaw. A band mill lends itself to a backyard hobby or a small business, a circular mill requires a mini industrial site where noise is no great concern. A band mill generates much less sawdust than circular. Circular headsaws live a long time one of mine is older than me and I'm in my 70's.
