This study reveals that two parameters mercury and chemical oxygen demand were crossing the described limits of NEQS for municipal and industrial effluents of Pakistan. The effluent is disposed of into open link drains. Badin Army sugar mill effluent is being carried by Serani drain which dispose of its polluted water finally to KPOD.
